note to self (#2)
It's 6AM and I still can't fall asleep. So far (in an attempt to exhaust myself) I've scrubbed the kitchen twice, scrubbed 10lbs of fingerling potatoes, cut up all the veggies for tonight, stacked all the kosher'd dishes and flatware somewhere safe, and done dishes. Nope, still not tired enough to sleep. If I don't get tired soon, I'm going to hit myself over the head with a hammer.
Anyway. I'm posting because I finally got to read C's post on The Yarn Museum. Oooh, I bet I have your attention now. And, after going through all their different gallery openings, I've decided to submit for this, this, this, and this. I wanted to mention this because I know several handspinners read my blog and I'll likely forget to tell them when I see them in person or exchange emails (I'm so bad that way).
But, to make up for the fact that this is my 3rd post in 24 hours, and you probably want to shoot me, here are 2 totally random pictures I took two years ago in Oplontis at the Villa Poppea:

And at Fort Vindolanda, along Hadrian's Wall in Hexam (or thereabouts):

Now, I think I may just fall asleep.
