oh, and that reminds me
For a week now, I've had this weird feeling that I'd forgotten to post something on the blog... and, today, as I was finishing re-casting on my Mum's sweater... voila! It hit me.
Here's the goodies I sent to RAC for the 1920's/ Flapper Swap on Craftster! She recieved them on Monday(?). The cloche, which while not what I expected, turned out okay if a bit bright. I also included an Art Deco/ Egyptian choker I made on a beading whim (there's no other way to describe the compulsive need-to-create that overcame me), a 30's-esque "fountain" crystal necklace, a really nifty photo of a trendy (at the time) couple, and some peacock feathers for cloche add-ons.
Funny thing is, RAC swears she loves the little gold chocker the best. How... serendipitous, I suppose. I'm just glad it arrived, and intact.
There, I knew I had forgotten something ;)
