I went to the Folk Festival today, and was impressed despite myself - mostly with these guys, David Jacobs Strain. I hadn't realised how much I'd missed down home music. I need to get a CD from them. Damn, they were yummy.

And, because I am such a complete and total idiot (no, really, I am), I get (laughing) to be crowded Queen of Weird Bun-Lines for a 2nd time:


So, on the way home I bought some hypoallergenic SPF 30 (cuz I can't do this any longer) and burn spray. Cuz I itch and I'm peeling all over (yes, gross and eww).

I am such a dweeb (I am laughing so hard at myself right now). Damn, it takes me a while sometimes.

I'm nearly ready to do the armhole decrease on the spencer. I'll post a pic of it later.

Also, yay in an "oh, shite" way, I completely fVcked up a bunch of my laundry. I KNOW I'd washed that skirt several times before. So why did it feel the need to bleed this time? I have giant purple streaks all over my t-shirts. Joyous. I'm laughing right now, too.

I think I need a cool lie-down.
