finally FO: mum's panta
Look what I finally got done. Another FO for my list. Now, I have no excuse not to write up the pattern for Gail and Kristen and all. Oy. I'll do that this week. Anyway, here's a really bad pic of my mum wearing her panta (I did the whole "fix red eye" thing on Picassa, but she still looks a bit demonic...):
The yarn I used was this lovely superwash sock yarn that my mum bought me as a gift when I started knitting. She got me, like, a pound of superwash that was grey and brown, so I "could dye it". Which I did. See the interesting colour changes? Yeah, I don't know how I managed to change palettes mid-skein. Weird.
Well, she liked it so much she put it on immediately and won't take it off now. Dear g-d, is it really 2 am?? I need to go to bed.
